Here Be Dragons

Some of the editing here is a little silly, but I thought this was a pretty great introduction to skepticism. Here’s hoping this show gets of the ground, I’d absolutely love to see it.

  3. Yeah you know I didn’t really quite get that one either. Also, yoga? I mean, I guess yoga can get all spiritual and crap, but for the most part I thought doing yoga was a fitness activity, like gymnastics.

Anyways, all in all I still like this video.

  4. yeah from what chance said yoga can be pretty spiritual and stuff and it makes his wife angry.

  5. Hahaha that’s awesome. I know his wife is an atheist, I guess Chance is agnostic? I’ve actually been curious about that.

  6. I know this comment is rather late, but if you watch Penn and Teller’s “Bullshit,” they actually go into debunking a lot of what yoga claims to do. Not just the spiritual stuff, either. They speak to a couple experts who say that holding the particular position after a certain amount of time no longer has any use to the body as far as fitness goes.

I didn’t really understand the sour cream thing, though…?

  7. Yeah some of Penn and Teller’s Bullshit is really good. I think they reach sometimes, or kind of call bullshit on an entire topic when it’s only a small part of it that’s bullshit, but overall I like the show and I really like what it’s trying to do.
